Hey guys, sorry for the long absence, but having some issues. My wounds have opened up and are infected. I started seeing a wound specialist on Thursday and they started me with specific wound changes and hyperbaric treatments. The hyperbaric treatments are not really fun, but what do you do, have to have them done. I will have to go to Little Rock 5 days a week for a couple of weeks, and then they will look at things again. I am sure this is not a shock to everyone since I had so many problems with my mastectomy, but sure was hoping for an easier ride this time. Will update more later.

Sorry guys!!!!!

Sorry guys that the updates stopped, we had to change hotels to find me a recliner to sleep in, found one but lost our internet connections, ugh!!!! I finally got to come home yesterday, and needless to say, I am VERY sore. Wanted to at least let you all know that I am still alive and kicking (slowly that it) and will updated again in a day or two.

Weel guys surgery has come and gone got some news and bad. The good news is that they were able to build my breast the bad was they could only do one side. So just have one perky boob. He said he could fix the other side.

We made it, D-day tomorrow at 7:30

We made to Dallas safe and sound!!! The sun was shinning when we got here, lol. I go into surgery in the morning at 7:30 and it will take 10-12 hours. My friend Adaire (Hi Adaire!!) will update when I get out of surgery and she gets a chance. Hopefully will be able to let you guys know something late tomorrow or first thing Thursday morning. Talk about bad luck!!!

Well, we leave for Dallas soon, and looks like we will be driving right through a hurricane, go figure!!!!! Hopefully we will just run into a lot of rain and nothing else. We have to leave early Tuesday since I have an appointment with my doctor at 2:00, so through the rain we will have to go.

Only 5 more days!!!!

Well the big day is getting closer, hard to believe it is almost time to leave for Dallas. We will be leaving here after we get the kids on the bus Tuesday morning, I have an appointment to see the doctor on Tuesday afternoon. My surgery is scheduled for 7:30 Wednesday morning, and they told us it should take between 10-12 hours, wow!!! I will be at Medical City Hospital there in Dallas, and will hopefully have someone update this site when they can. It may be Thursday before anyone can, but feel free to call the hospital if you would like. Not sure what info they will give out, but guess you can try.
Please remember me and my family in your prayers as it will be as hard on my family as me. My kids are a little nervous about mom being so far away from home, but they do understand that I will have to go there. The boys are kinda excited that mom will finally have boobies again (ladies you know how men are about boobs, lol), I think they are just ready for a little cushion when they want to snuggle with mom.

If you like country music and like the song, please call your local radio station and request it, Jason is a great guy and has worked so hard to get where they are.
